Targa RSR project :)
Hello,
it's been a while since I last owned an aircooled 911 (been on the scenic route with a 996TT), but a few months ago I started a new project ![]() To make a long story short, I ended up with a DP935-1 conversion ![]() I didn't like the car, but it had the right wheels ![]() So I've stripped it ![]() ![]() Took it to my body shop ![]() Last edited by Hellraiser; 08-14-2017 at 07:28 AM.. Can't wait to see how this goes...
I own a black targa as well and am keen to see your work finished. Those tires are just fantastic - tread looks so perfectly vintage.
Keep on it and show us some magic! |

I too am working on an RSR width Targa right now. Mine is more IROC though, but same idea. I bought mine with steel quarters already welded on: RSR width in back, Turbo plus 1.5" in front, so really wide.

Retired, finally

![]() My '77 with a '84 motor and transmission. Not quite as wide as yours, but still a fatass.

I dig the unique color.
Definitely a step up from the 935 body. |
