Targa RSR project :)

Hello,

it's been a while since I last owned an aircooled 911
(been on the scenic route with a 996TT), but a few months ago
I started a new project

To make a long story short,

I ended up with a DP935-1 conversion

I didn't like the car, but it had the right wheels

So I've stripped it

Took it to my body shop

Can't wait to see how this goes...

I own a black targa as well and am keen to see your work finished. Those tires are just fantastic - tread looks so perfectly vintage.

Keep on it and show us some magic!

I too am working on an RSR width Targa right now. Mine is more IROC though, but same idea. I bought mine with steel quarters already welded on: RSR width in back, Turbo plus 1.5" in front, so really wide.

My '77 with a '84 motor and transmission. Not quite as wide as yours, but still a fatass.

Small update,

I gave the body shop my last instructions and handed
over the colour code so hopefully by the next update
it will be painted

Thanks, but that's just the primer colour
The paint colour will scream for RSR-finish on the fuchs

I dig the unique color.

Definitely a step up from the 935 body.
