Red AC hose
Having these made to do my restorations proper.
The hoses are ready, but i am not sure about the print. Which code would be the correct one for the airco hose. All the hoses i have are pretty much crust and do not show any data. Advise is appreciated and rewarded whit a set of lenght for free in 2 sizes, you only pay the shipping. ![]() |

All the A/C hoses on every 911 I have seen is black. The only red hose I have on my pressure service gauges.

We disposed of a few boxes of used old style red fabric hose a few years ago.
What you need to find is an early 911 or 912, say 1968-1977, that had factory a/c, sometimes called 'dealer installed', that is in 'concours' condition; a winning 100% stock example, and examine the hoses. Current SAE specs are something like J2064-201508 and J3062-201506. I believe there are a few hose fabricators across the Pacific (westward) that will make anything you want and print anything you want on it; besides Gucci bags

But i think from 72' on they use the same red Areoquip hose. I have seen quit a few high end restorations where the red hose is changed to black. Anyway i would like to go the red orginal look,so hoses in 2 sizes are ready for print. I only need to know which of the 2 prints is the correct one for this specific AC hose. Might there be sombody who has a orginal one where the code is still visible? ![]() ![]() |

Thx
I am pretty sure the 1540 code is the right one for AC. I think the F models maybe use a other diameter, thats why the code could be different? Anyway received a pm regarding the right data for a 3.0 Turbo. Lets see how this turns out. Will post info when ready. |
