88 Master brake Pic needed
Hi
I need a pic of the master brake area on an hyd. clutch 911. I want to see where the factory routes the feed line for the clutch. Can anyone help me out? TIA Dean

There is no line for the clutch off the MC. It must come off the rear brake line under the car.

Here's a diagram;
![]() The feed line #9 comes off the side of the brake fluid resivoir, the blue line in KTL's pic.

Just for clarity's sake, Bill's diagram shows a separate master cylinder. NOT the brake master cylinder. The clutch master cylinder gets its supply of fluid from the brake fluid reservior, and the cylinder itself is located within the pedal cluster.
The brake pressure lines and clutch pressure lines are two separate systems and therefore do not share anything except their fluid supply source.

Sorry, if that wasn't clear.

Plenty clear to me Bill. I've looked at that diagram a bunch of times.
![]() The mention of the clutch line coming off the rear brake line got me to thinking that there might be some confusion. That's all.

I never know when to be long winded and when not to.
the short, bandwidth conserving ans should be "the blue line in KTl 's pic" This medium is soo frustrating at times, thats why I like picture. You should read one that I have been trying to participate in over on Rennlist, people just don't read or refuse to understand sometimes, I guess my lousy composition doesn't help.
