Need dimension on front of 68-73 model
I am backdating my 1985:
so this is how a backdate project starts... and I have the bumper and bumper brackets that I want to install...they are new sourced steel parts. I am looking for dimensions of the original holes in the longhoods that the bumper brackets would bolts to. I borrowed this photo and need to locate the two holes on each side of the chassis nose that I have circled in red measured horizontally from the furthest forward point of the fender mating surface (red arrow) or some other reference point that seems suitable (like the front of the nose at that corner), and some vertical reference measurement (from the bottom of the chassis directly underneath the holes). I could also use the dimensions of the holes if anyone has that handy. ![]() Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! Mike |

I just had my bumper off last week. Oh well. Hope this helps. Notice that the holes are next to the seam.
