Another ITB and Megasquirt Build Thread
Greetings All,
I have a resto-mod '80 SC Weissach that currently uses 46 Webers with XDi Crankfire and SSI's with single outlet Dansk Sport Muffler on a fresh 3.0 full rebuild. While I have the car running well, and I've retrofitted a hand throttle to manage the warmup process, the car is a bit challenging for my wife to start in cold weather. So instead of coaching her further I am going to convert to Megasquirt EFI using Triumph throttle bodies. Ok, the wife warmup is not the only reason I just like projects like this, and once had an Electromotive TEC1 setup with ITB's on a 3.0 race motor. Like childbirth, that experience was so long ago I only remember it fondly...Sign on to get lots of High Rez Hardware P0rn Pics and an unvarnished commentary on what this kind of project is like for a DIY type. I'll start you off with where we are today, and a link to the project photo library https://goo.gl/photos/2dz8wXScjzJGWJtm6

Thanks for sharing this with us. Looking forward to learning a lot about EFI. Cheers Rich

Have you considered a VEMS unit instead of megasquirt? I have one of each and recommend VEMS for quick install and also because the wideband o2 control is integrated. Happy with ms2 or ms3 when tuned properly... Ms1 not recommended.
Good luck. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
