Chrome Fuchs, know anyone who strips them?

We have a factory 88 slant nose in for some work. Sadly at some point someone decided to chrome the wheels. None of our many quality wheel refinishers in the area will touch them with a 10 foot pole.

I will ship them if I have to, anyone in your area that will bring these back to factory finish with the white centers?

Cheers

I cannot correctly say, but there is a reason why Fuchs in Germany does not accept chromed rims for restoration. I remember faintly it has to do with the change of surface structure that not only makes anodizing a problem but also affects Fuchs stability standards.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Flojo..you are absolutely correct.Back in the 1980`s, 4 kids-teenagers got killed in California in 911 with chrome wheels. It was a long law suit.Porsche said there in no way safe to chrome the Fuchs rims due to the structure problems. The rims just broke a part....
I personally have seen the 911 from the accident. It was not pretty. It was locked up in container for years in north of Los Angels in one place i am not going to name.

basically no chrome!!
