Shallow? That's depth, man, ancient wisdom. What's the line from "Love & Death?" when they ask the oldest, wisest man in the village what's the best thing in life? "Teen aged blonde girls, preferably two together." :-)

I better back Bill up...

I went to Ceroc once in Wellington (I even lived there for 6 months). The girls were pretty nice...

Being relatively young (26) and being younger when I was going (23), I went to the "student" night, which was over 50% Auckland University students. So the girls were young, pretty and nice...

I mean, yeah, there are a couple of scary ones (girls, but some of the guys are scary for the girls too), but generally I was pleasantly surprised. The girl who asked me along was very good looking

Fishcop, sheep in NZ can't dance? Do the Aussie ones???

Wow, Jack, two manifestos on relationships in one week! Cool. I'm the James Dean type myself; the guitar-playing Porsche driver.

Cab. Try this. http://personals.yahoo.com. You'll meet all kinds of psychos and the occasional cool woman.

Talking

I have to say, I used to have numbers under the windshield wiper when I would leave clubs. The car should be good for something.

How about we get back to talking CARS and stop whining about our love lives on the board, mkay?

If you have too much time on your hands by not working on your car, and not meeting women, then you probably have other websites you should be looking at instead. Stop taking up space.

Just my 2cents.

Damn, didn't somebody make a remark in a previous thread relating this board to Cosmo? Hey Jack, great synopsis, and IMHO girls would eat this stuff up!

Wink

My other car is a Karmann Ghia. It gives me enough trouble, thus I don't need a woman any more.

Fishcop? NZ folks would appreciate this one..A USA collegiate basketball coach went shopping for a new suit. He was shown one made from virgin wool. Price $2,000. He then asked: "Do you have one from a sheep that's fooled around a little for $400?"

Cabman, I think I found you a date. Oh and she likes Porsches too! Can even do some light maintenance. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=595777145&tc=photo6428

Cool

I'm with not_sure. Since I started buying P-cars, my love life has changed dramatically for the better. At first, I bought the cars merely because they fulfilled a persistent childhood dream of driving behind the wheel of all of my Hot Wheels cars (you ALL must know exactly what I mean, right?). I didn't really believe that anyone would actually behave differently just because of a car. It seemed too much like a cheesy plot device from a Soap Opera. But apparently women watch a lot of Soap Operas...lol...and I find it is a fantasy for them. They don't want to drive it. They want to be seen in it - which seems bizarre to me. I believe it is because the car screams affluence. Though again, those of us who own them are likely less impressed because we know you can get a 911 for less than $15k. But I have never met a woman who wasn't positively hot to go for a ride.

LOL...Nice one pwd72s. Of course as an Aussie, I have many, many, many Kiwi jokes (probably as many as Kiwis have for Aussies) but unfortunately most are far too crass for this board. Plus I've got too many Kiwi mates that are bigger than me

Oh, here is NZ contribution to the current anti-terrorist effort
