We're rooting for you, CabMan. You seem like a nice guy and you drive the ultimate chick magnet. It is only a matter of time and practice. In the meantime, I recommend we all continue our research into the science of Porsche Dating. I, for one, plan to have the Porsche crest tatoo moved from my neck to my forehead to facilitate mate selection. I will publish the results in a reputable peer-reviewed journal.

Cabman,
i feel your pain, i'm a single starving college student studing commercial aviation, i've got a 914(need restoration) and possibly an old 911 about to be purchased, hell i've taken folks on airplane rides, the women seem to take it or leave it, it's hard to live down the speedracer rep when you're seen in a porsche, don't tell them you own a porsche, let them figure it out on there own, and when you do downplay the car or airplane, my previous g/f dreaded riding as a passenger when i was driving, in either my pontiac chevette clone or my 914, and for heavens sakes stay away from the tech speak unless she brings it up, you'll get shot down on the spot, just have a good time, if she likes porsches consider it a bonus |
