Value of a 3.2 with broken head studs
Came a across a project car with a low mile 3.2 which suffered broken head studs. The engines top end was removed and was never repaired. I understand there could be other issues but I know the original mechanic and trust the seller. I have a 80 SC and was contemplating rebuilding the 3.2 for it. The 3.2 comes with a 915 which has been converted for the motornic flywheel sensor. Opinions on time/cost benefit of installing a 3.2 in a SC? HP gain? What other items would need to be addressed. Gasket kit, studs........or slide down the slope and bump to a 3.4 or 3.5?
Thank for your time. |

Can't help with the value question, but if the 3.2 has the Motronic injection and related harness and Motronic unit, it would be a nice upgrade.
