How much faster should front pads wear than the rears?

I have Pagid yellow pads on the front and black on the rear for my DE track only car.(1984 Turbo Look)
From new, the fronts are 8mm thinner while the rears are 5 mm thinner. I think this works out to 62%
of the total effort from the front, and 38% for the rear. Does this seem right or should I put more bias towards the rears?

Seems about right. I have found that the front DE pads wear wear approximately twice as fast. Obviously this depends on many factors including type of track, driving style, experience and pad compound. check out your bias next rainy day by threshold braking on a smooth wet road. Fronts should always lock up just a little earlier.

Nanny cars driven "on the computer" may wear our rear pads at a pace rivaling front wear. Ask any of the "brave" driving instructors who've ridden in one of these "hero cars".

brake torque for your car is ~61%f, 39% r
