Two questions about this potential new toy

Hi friends,

I am looking at this good looking 3.2 cabriolet from 1984 in a fairly rare color (slate blue) and I have three questions:
  1. It does not have the third brake light, is that expected on a 1984?
  2. Wheels seems to be 7/8" fuchs, was that an option in 1984?
  3. Would you say wheels look like replicas?

Thanks a lot! I will see the car in person in a few days.

1. 84-85 did not, it became mandatory in 86 to have a center third brake light.
2. They were not an option
3. Pull them and check the back. Part numbers should tell you very quickly.

Excellent thanks. The fact that it comes without the third brake light saves me potential future headaches As far as the wheels go, I will see how reasonable it is for me to pull the wheels when I see it.

I have one in slate blue, '84 as well. Very nice if discreet color.
