Ryan, My family and myself Thank You, your wife and all those who serve, past, present & future.
|
The funny thing Ryan? My son-in-law's last name is the same as your first...he's currently deployed, and some A-Hole, somewhere along the line, stole the stogies I sent via his APO...I dunno who's more POed, he or me...maybe the ones I sent Leland made it because nobody screws with EOD guys??? ;)
|
All the best of luck to you. You, and everyone who protects this country, are heroes in my book. My prayers are with you.
|
Ryan, best wishes to you and your wife on your deployment. Also, a big thank you for all that you do for our country. Take care and come back home soon!
|
Good Luck Ryan, A big hearty thank you from my family!

I wanted to add to this thread to get my niece and her husband in on the "pelican support our troops" wheel.
My niece Jill (20 yr) just found out her husband Foti (21 yr) is being deployed to an "undisclosed location" and will be leaving any day. He was issued a "desert pack" so I think we can figure out which area he is going to. He is a Marine and an airplane mechanic. They were just married last fall. Please keep them in your thoughts & prayers too. Thanks everyone!!!!! Sarah & Tim~ http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...ed pic sml.jpg |
Ryan, I wish you well, and good luck. Protecting the usa from evil is something to be proud of, Kevin

Good luck. Watch your six and I hope your journey is safe. We wish you all the luck, skill, and safety that you need.

Ryan,
Everyone loves you here and I just want you to know that I will pray for you and your wife to return safely. Take care of yourself over there! |
Wow, I was taking advantage of my 10 min a week Pelican time and I saw this thread came back up. Thanks for all your kind words. Things are going good here, I’m sure you can imagine how busy we’ve been. My wife was up there for the first strike of the war, that was a very stressful night. Since then it’s just kind of been business as usual, but a lot more than usual. We are lucky to be here together. We get a chance to see each other almost every day for at least a few minutes.
I can’t believe I forgot to bring a SCWDP sticker. If anyone has an extra one they can send me I’ll put it on my plane so we can really show Saddam that we mean business. ;) Hope every one is doing well. I look forward to getting back and going on a run. Cheers! |
Godspeed
Thanks for your courage and service! God Bless You!

I'd vote for convincing the guys at Skunkworks for shipping the car overseas and getting them to upgrade with a supercharged 3.8 and a roof mounted, sight targeting .30. With air conditioning of course. It would be the perfect street sweeper.;)
All jokes aside, take care of yourself and the group and get back safe, and soon. |
Ryan,
I thank you, your wife and all the military personel "fighting the good fight" for us back in the states and for the people of Iraq. Fly safe and hope all of you can come home soon. We need you back here to plan the next BBIII run!! Take care and in our thouhgts.............. |
