Question Why so many clutch release levers?

Dear friends

I have this 1978SC and itīs missing the clutch release lever, then I was looking the part number to try to find this part and I notice from the PET file that there is many types of Levers!

Why is that? Whatīs the difference between one and the other?, can I use any one in the 915 tranny?

In this particular car the right lever is the #13 on the PET file, since my cable is the Hook one (930 423 401 05) and on the car I see the parts #22 and #23

What is strange to me is that my 1976 S have the #7 lever and my 1983 SC have the #7 lever as well (both with a cable with a 7mm thread end)

If by 1978 they change for this more complicated system, why by 1983 they came back to the old system

My point being is that, now that I need to buy one I would like to buy the cheapest one that works I figure #7 should be cheaper since is just one arm, may be wrong though...

So, can I? Use any lever? Or I have to stick with #13 system with the omega coils and etc?

Thank you all

The SC system was used between 77 and 86 with exception of 77 euro with the 150 horse used the 76 style arm.
The three long independent levers use a shorter vertical shaft.
On the 83, I would check the year of the box because it was either changed or massive work was done to change the vertical shaft and the cable.
