Aluminium Dash backdate
Is there a aluminum dash backdate kit for a 1984 3.2 Carrera ?
Any ideas on how to remove the air control slider panel ? and finally would the predated air control slider chrome bezel fit on an 1984 ?

Do a search for backdated interior. I think I remember someone here doing a pretty thorough job on a dash. The controls are different so no, it’s not a simple swap but obviously doable if you’ve got skills and patience.

 This is a 1985 3.2 Carrera dash we are backdating and this is the first rough prototype. We have drawn the switch positions and will laser cut Aluminium sheet. The Aluminium extrusion will hold it all together in the same way as the 1969 trim. We will polish and anodise the extrusions to the correct finish. We have also made glovebox lid to convert the later panel to the correct earlier shape. |

The RHD version can be ordered from Stuttgart for approx. $530 !!!!
The blanks can be ordered on ebay for $125 for a full length. Does anyone has the dimensions cut outs for the radio and air control units ? |
