TDC Usuing Z1 vs Calculated
I am trying to determine what the difference is between the TDC using the Z1 mark versus the calculated TDC? The Z1 mark must be out sometimes, or am I missing something?

I’ve checked true TDC with piston stop device and dial indicator vs Z1 mark on two engines and they were dead on. Still not a bad idea to check.
