Stalling Problem in my SC
I just had my p-car shipped out from Las Vegas and it likes to stall when idiling or while I am decelerating (RPM's get really low) I drove it out in Vegas and it didnt stall at all. I was maybe thinking it is the alltitude change, I am at about 5000 feet here in Colorado and he was at about 2000 feet in Las Vegas. Or I was also thinking it could be my fuel pump. When it is warm it wont start unless I pump the gas a little. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks!

My guess is that your fuel mixture needs to be reset after moving up here. Where are you in Colorado? If you want a suggestion for a good wrench, look up Storz Garage or I can get you the number.
One thing, it is VERY bad to pump the gas on a SC. I have heard horror stories of backfires and cracked air boxes from pumping the gas.

I am in Boulder, Colorado and I have heard good things about Carquip located locally here. Any other suggestions on what I should do to get the car aclimated to the higher Altitude.

Other than the mixture, you shouldn't need to do anything. I have never heard anything concerning CarQuip. Give them a call and see what they think and the cost.
The ones that are always on the top of the list with the club guys are: Storz Eurosport Ltd Eurosport Automotive Autosport works (new in Broomfield)

Do a quarter turn clockwise on the CIS AF adjusting screw and that should do it. Drive and see. No more than a half turn clockwise.

Thanks tsuter I will give it a try tonight and tell ya how it goes. I am scheduled for a full inspection on Thursday at a local shop my friend use to work at so I should know a little bit more about my car then. Thanks for the advice and let me know if anyone else has a little knowledge to drop on a young newbie. Thanks!!

I however have a question regarding your advice to turnthe needle clockwise. I thought I would need to lean out the mixture due to the increase in altitude. Which would be turning the needle counter clockwise 1/4 turn. Someone ping in here as I am confused now.

That's correct. You'll need to turn it CCW to lean it for the higher altitude.

When it stalls out while warm - i.e., the idle drops off to zero - you can increase the idle speed setting screw - not necessarily correct or richen the misture - ie., turn the screw (CW).
