Adapter kit for 930 turbo trailing arms.

Back in the day, these kits were pretty common.
Weld on brackets to convert a 74-86 911 (2.7, SC/Carrera) torque tube for installation of 930 turbo trailing arms.
Any idea who might be selling the kit now?

Time to resurrect this thread.

I need these brackets for 87-89. I bought the ones from Patrick Racing but they only really work on 86 or earlier.

But they would be different brackets or at least highly modified, and would need a jig to get the location of the holes correct.

Nobody makes anything off the shelf for a G50. I bought the John James 935 camber boxes and modified to fit. I was not happy with the quality. If I were to do it again I would design my own and have them laser cut.

I'm actually considering that but need a way to jog it up so I get the holes in the right place.

How hard is it to properly align Aase brackets?

I have some brackets available that I couldn't use. I would recommend engineering jigs in CAD and 3d printing.

I have a 930 Torsion tube left over and would sell it... Unfortunately I am in Switzerland, not sure if it's worth to send to the US

I can also tell you: depending on your engine/transmission configuration, the torsion tube won't be your only problem.

THe Zuffenhaus boys were in Monroe NC....SE of Charlotte.. They have been shut and closed for business for years now.

That is something cannot do. My version of CAD is Cardboard Aided Design, where I make the part out of cardboard first and then transfer that to steel. :)

I have access to a 930 torsion tube. It's still attached to the rear floor section though. Is this a better way to do this? Do I get a big hole saw to get that tube off the rear body section?

We just did this on an SC. Bought the brackets from PMS (they need work to make fit) and welded them on. We are going to make our own brackets for future installs.

Krieger914 10-25-2025 01:18 PM

Mark, what did it take to align these. I spoke with a guy at PMS and he told me they use a celette bench...
