V-e-r-y W-i-d-e Fuchs for BB2

11x17.

I never really was able to imagine how they'd look. Now they're here.

They're very wide wheels.

Holy schmoly...those things look like they'd go on a steam roller!!
Could you provide some background and/or other pics explaining and showing how they were constructed? Are they one piece?

RickM 02-20-2003 06:14 AM

Gotta love that Deep Dish look!

Mark Wilson 02-20-2003 06:30 AM

Outstanding!!!! Looks more like art that car parts. What size tires will you run with those?

Tinker 02-20-2003 06:37 AM

Jack,

Couple of questions? What is the offset of those monsters? I think on your last set, you used spacers to clear the calipers? Same on these?

Those are HUGE!

KTL 02-20-2003 06:47 AM

Jack,

Just curious as to the turnaround time on those wheels.

I'm interested in some 7's (or 8's? I dunno what's best) and 9's for my car and just wondering how long it takes to get these made up for you.

No big deal really as my car spends more time on stands than on tires.......................

HawgRyder 02-20-2003 06:48 AM

Hey Jack...
How many tires do you mount on each of those?? LOL
Reminds me of Hercules wheels (aircraft).

They look square!

widebody911 02-20-2003 07:44 AM

RSR wheels - I had a set of those. You're chances of getting naked with Halle Berry are better than those of finding a set of street tires to fit those wheels.

I have a set of 17x11, currently shod with A032R's, which I'm driving on the street to burn them off so I can put something better on 'em.

Those are some big feet Jack! Good price too considering the cost of Fikse or the like. Your going to need those to fill out those massive flares.

I stopped by TRE a couple days ago and Tyson was kind enough to give me a tour of the work done on BB2. I was really impressed by the job they did on the flares and the work doe to move the drive drain forward. She's really coming along. The pics posted really don't do the work perfromed on the car justice.

It is sort of sad seeing BB1 out in the cold being stripped of her dignity.

john_colasante 02-20-2003 08:10 AM

Nice, but I still think the they would look better with the satin annodizing rather than polish.

arcsine 02-20-2003 08:18 AM

Sick and wrong to show such porn on a family channel like this.

jabb 02-20-2003 09:21 AM

Jack
Those are huge.... where did you get them ? Are the custom made ?

old_skul 02-20-2003 09:24 AM

Good lord, Jack. We're not worthy.
