Option Code? Country Code? Help please

After 10+ years of ownership I finally thought to look up my option codes. I am unable to find the meaning of the E30 code. After a bit of research it seems that this location is often used for the country code. However all country codes seem to start with a C. If not a country code then perhaps it is a group option code? I was unable to find much about group options. Any assistance in identifying what the E30 code would be much appreciated. Thanks. Oh, it's a ROW car if that helps and am fairly certain that original delivery was in Germany.

European lights (i.e. H1, H4) have "E" codes. Porsches shipped to the US before around 1990 (??) had lighting that was compliant with USDOT regulations at the time; these "US market" lights did not carry an E code.

My H4's have an E code moulded into the glass lens. I should point out that I installed the H4's about 20 years ago and got rid of the sealed-beam "sugar scoop" headlights. I do not have any E codes on my options sticker; my 911 was built for the US market in 1983

It is possible that the E30 on your sticker refers to "European" lighting on your car or it could refer to some country-specific lighting like West Germany in your case.

I've searched Google images of other labels for 911's. I haven't found a ROW or non ROW car with a similar code. The problem with searching for the E30 code you get all sorts of BMW stuff in return... Since I don't seem to have a C code for the country I guess I have to assume it's a funky country code?

It's a 1984. I haven't found a option code list (including stuttcars) that has E30.

There doesn't seem to even be a 30.

After some more reading/digging it seems that not having the country code on ROW cars is not uncommon if not the norm. E30 is still a mystery

I am certain that it is a group option; I have others in 1984: D29, E09 & E21
With a VIN I could get a list of options, and that might tell us what E30 is.

E30 is a option grouping put together by PCNA It usually contained a set of commonly ordered options. If you get someone smart and you are extra nice they can oftentimes tell you. Usually they will tell you they cant, but call back until you get someone helpful. On 3.2 it usually something like cruise, extended hub wheel, alarm, forged wheels, etc all bundled together.

In trying to track down the info I was actually able to find the original owner in Germany who by luck spoke English. Unfortunately he couldn't help much since he only had the car a week. He ordered it without a sunroof and they delivered it with one. He returned it and got a turbo instead.

A fellow Ontario resident here, with a similar question!
Have the following options listed on the under-hood sticker:
C02 E09 220 395 650

Having some challenges verifying C02 and what is in the option group E09.
Any help would be much appreciated!

C02 is North American spec.

I have found it to be USA, except for California, because of the catalytic converter spec. Still trying to unravel what is tied up in the option group E09, if anyone knows...
