Adjustable drop links fell off - Can you Identify These?
So.. on a short drive yesterday, I heard a clunk and thought it was a rock I picked up..
Turns out that the bolt came undone for the drop link, and the square retaining bolts came out and flung off never to be found again. Can anyone identify the brand of linkage I have? I need to try and buy replacements. Here are some photos of the parts from the other side. ![]() ![]() Last edited by mikedsilva; 04-23-2018 at 03:15 AM.. |

I'm thinking you could fab something up pretty quickly if you have a bench grinder and a drill press.
Back block doesn't even need to be threaded , just go right through and put a nut at the back. Those beveled washers I'm sure you can buy off the shelf.

Thanks for identifying them as TRG bars...
The weird thing is, that both the nuts in the photo are threaded.. that doesn't make too much sense to me. I would have thought that only the one on the back would be threaded... Now to see if TRG still make bits and pieces.... (i'm in Australia so haven't heard of them). |

The beveled washers are typically called safety retaining washers when we're talking about rod ends.

TRG previously had a parts store on their website where you could buy individual parts for sway bars and other bits they offered. It appears they've moved their parts site to an ebay store and I don't see any parts listed that apply to our old cars.
So it would seem they've moved on from that era of cars. But maybe it's worth a call to them and see what they can do for you? Just beware because when I last saw the old parts on their website, I thought they were ridiculously overpriced.
