Any experience with Dansk 930 turbo flares/fenders?

I recently picked up a set of Dansk 930 turbo flares and noticed that one of them had a large crease/dent in it. After contacting the seller/supplier, their response was that this type of "damage" is typical of sheet metal parts and that I don't have a clue of what's involved when dealing with sheet metal since I am a DIYer (was not going to be installing these on myself, so not sure how that assumption was made anyways).

All 3 other fenders I received were in good condition, so I am not sure if anyone else had this issue with the fenders they received or if anyone with sheet metal experience can confirm that this is what's expected when purchasing pieces like this.

Send it back and demand a replacement. Not right! They are just trying to rationalize their error.

Looks to me like the metal is "too long" in that seam region.
Manufacturing defect caused by a process variation.
Professionally, they should want the part back to determine what happened.

Looks like shipping damage.
Are they directly from a Dansk supplier or private sale?

If not... I'd keep calling back and asking to talk to someone else... send them pictures.

Then document everything, and finally, if you used your credit card, call your CC bank and file a complaint.
