RS style front bumper help
Can anyone help identify if the part of the bumper below the oil cooler can be removed? I've seen most RS type cars without the bottom "extra" handing down piece, so I'm wondering if this is just an extra piece to help with aerodynamics or if it can be removed? Or would you need a whole new bumper if you didn't want that bottom part?
Just seems awfully low for street use. ![]() Last edited by sadcaper; 05-22-2018 at 10:30 AM.. |

Yes. What you are looking at in the pic you posted is an RS style bumper with an added on spoiler/splitter attached to the bottom of the bumper.

I can't assume how a previous owner would mount it. But I would guess it would be screwed onto the bumper and easily removed.
Take a look here. http://www.gt-racing.com/porsche-911-bumpers/

You can get a good idea from the GT Racing web page that shows the two parts separate.
