WTB - 9&11x15 widened Fuchs

Long shot, but anyone have some 15” Fuchs for sale that have been widened? Before I buy a set of 15” Fuchs and get them widened, might as well check if someone has some that have been widened to 9” et+3, 11"et(-)27. Looking for widened original Fuchs, don’t want the lip profile of the braid wheels, and can’t afford real RSR Fuchs for a backdate! Would be going on a ‘74 911 w/ steel turbo flares.

This set has been on the market for a while, not sure if you’ve seen them or not. They definitely need some work, and aren’t the exact offsets you’re looking for, but are close. Maybe the seller is negotiable now that they’ve been for sale for almost a year...

Those are my wheels, thank you for the post. Don’t know why they haven’t sold. . I’m a long time member and very experienced restorer. There is a tiny pinhole in the weld that has been sealed up for offsets are RSR and they are pretty wheels. Happy to give any info or take a call.

I have a restored set of welded 9&11’s.
I’m planning to list them soon.

Let me know if you’re interested.

The Maxilite wheels are an alternative. They are not to bad looking. Not sure if 930 brakes would fit.

I have a perfect set of Harvey Weidman 9/11's that have never been used, Harvey made from (4) 6's and (4) 8" Fuchs. I would probably sell them, only problem is all-in I have like $7500 in them once Harvey did his magic.

Is the $7500 for all eight or just for four?

It sounds like 8 donors were used to make one set of 4 widened wheels.

There are only 4 wheels. But in order to do it right Harvey requires you supply 4 - 6” Fuchs and 4 - 8” Fuchs. He cuts and welds them all together so you get one set of Fuchs 9/11’s - several years later.

I’ve heard the wait is ridiculous. Did it really take years?!? Can you post pics of them please, I’ve always wanted to see what a set of his widened Fuchs look like.

Oh yes. Probably 2.5 years. I think his normal wait Time is 18 months unless you know him. Hence why I don’t need them anymore, after 2.5 years plans changed. I will look for pics but basically you can’t tell them apart from factory RSR wheels - they have correct date stamps with the 6” donors.

Terrible pics but I have mounted the fronts up just for fun. Don’t have any other pics of them.

That sucks you never got to use them. Put them on BaT, someone on that site will pay stupid money for them, maybe you can get a good chunk of it back.

thanks for the offer, but unfortunately more than I can spend on wheels right now. a good deal considering original RSR Fuchs are twice that much.

might just need to rock some cheap (maxilite or similar) wheels for a while and save up.
