				Engine sheet metal not fitting

Hello, Engine recently installed back in car with issues in gap between sheet metal pan and seal. A large gap ..3/4" at least. I've try to force it in between the seal but is not working. What could be the cause? Any help and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you, Bao | ||

The rear tin relies on an upright support piece between the stock muffler and the tin. If you don’t have a stock setup you can easily fabricate something.

Bao, Google "Porsche 912 stock exhaust" or "912 muffler", or "356 muffler" or something like that. There are 2 holes in the sagging tin, (one on each side) for 2 brackets that mount on the muffler (stock muffler) since you have an "extractor" exhaust (old school term) you'll have to fabricate a couple of pieces. Please post photos, I'd like to see how you do it. Peter | ||
