Rear (left) turn signal working, but not brake/light

There's three bulbs in the rear light assemblies (from inside to outside): 1-brake/headlamp indicator, 2-backup, 3-turn signal. Although the left turn signal works, there is no charge going to the wires for the brake/headlamp indicator, based on a voltmeter in VDC mode. The brake/headlamp indicator and turn signal work on the right side, showing 12VDC.

I also replaced all the bulbs (left/right side).

What would cause the wires to be dead to the inner bulb in the left light assembly?

The fuses are all good, so is there a bus or fuse that the left side goes through?

I read the wiring diagram and all the wire colors and their concections are appropriate.

Time out, it's worse than I imagined. When I turned on the ignition key this morning, the reverse lights were on in the back, with the trans in neutral, and clutch out. Same thing when the engine was running. Turn off the key, and the reverse lights go out.

I noticed three buses (2 rectangular, 1 cylindrical) above the brake pedal underneath the dash, into which a lot of lighting wires are routed. So I need to pull those, and probably replace them.

Does anyone know the OEM part numbers for the three buses above the brake pedal?

Got it solved. The collision shop messed up the wiring connections to the new front left turn signal assembly. To debug the problem, with all the wires in the rear light assembly disconnected, I kept blowing fuses whenever I turned the lights on - so it wasn't a rear left light assembly, but rather the front turn signal assembly. I just got the car back from the the collision shop (who replaced the left fender with an OEM fender and a new turn signal assembly) so it dawned on me that they messed up the wiring, and that was indeed the problem.

I pulled the right turn signal assembly and could still see the sharpee markings for wire color connections from when the car was painted 12 years ago, but the same guy 12 years later didn't pay attention to wire color codes this time for the new left turn signal assembly. (also, why would you expect a collision shop technician to use a voltmeter and 912 wiring diagram to debug a lighting problem?)

Interestingly, the "early 912" up to 1967 wiring diagram does not apply to the 1968, since you have to refer to the early 911 wiring diagram (L57), which is below.

Using the early 911 wiring diagram for the '68 912 worked, and all the wire color codes are identical, and I was able to rewire with crimped connections and solve the issue.
