The MSD is in and working great!!

Just got the MSD 6A installed with the tach adapter and this thing really works great, smoooooth power, quick start, golden plugs and a whole lot of smooth acceleration. Also installed the Jocobs energy coil and am waiting for the Jacobs plug wires, they are on back order. You can also see the Holley 12-804 fuel pressure regulator on to of the dog house which keeps the fuel pressure at a steady 2.5 psi This should just about do it, my wife says!!!!
Oh, a quick check around town shows around 24 MPG driving somewhat hard.

it was about 22 to 23 mpg, I am checking it again rite now with the msd. Cost was 150 msd 24 coil 34 wires 24 adapter about? I did just get my plug wires and that also made a BIG difference again, I have heard that some people that install the msd dont see any increased performance, could be they dont use the proper wires that are are called for, just ask Tim!!

TIM WHO ?? just kidding. He's been pushing me towards a MSD. Great guy. Did you increase the gap on the plugs? Did the wires come with the ends or did you have to use your old ones?

Duke. The rod goes to the flaps for the carb pre-warmers

Please stop raining

The wires are complete, ready to go, you need to keep the screw on cap that comes with your sparkplugs to use them, you know those things we toss out. I gapped about .34 After breakin I will go to a colder Bosch 5 series plug. Pre-warmers is rite, I am still looking for new bellows for mine to make it work!! anyone??
