Need info of this mounting bracket

Hello,

I have a 68 912 with a raised mounting bracket just forward of the battery tray, it is attached to floor surface. I thought it might have been for the windshield washer pump but I believe the pump mounts with grommets on a vertical surface. What is the function of this bracket? Thanks to anybody that can help me with some info.

I believe you are talking about the windshield washer fluid tank bracket:

The windshield washer pump appears to align with this mounting bracket Although the pump is positioned horizonally not vertically on the bracket. Also no mounting grommets needed on this 68 912. Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to my initial post.
