Next spring I plan to replace my 69 front Bogie Struts with new Bogie Automatic Gas Struts (already have them). Will there be a big change in front body height measured at the top of the wheel wells?
My guess is if the old ones are wornout and produce little lift new ones will raise the body. Question is how much? Not sure how to check for good or bad front struts. Is there a bounce test?? I replaced my Koni rear shocks because the old ones were ratteling over bumps and easy to detect. Thanks, Ron D

Ron,
I installed new Bilsteins a few months back and yes it did raise the car a bit, of course I had had it lowered about the same amount a few months before that. Not enough to look or feel weird while driving but I did notice a slight handling difference with the new Bilsteins but I can tell it sits slighty higher. Craig |
