Post Window Frames on '69 coupe

Just wondering if anyone has had any success bringing back the chrome on window frames. Mine are in great shape, but discolored. Any suggestions? I have tried the usual.(Rubbing compound) w/no luck.

Wet sanding is probably your best bet. Use 2000 grit or finer sandpaper and let it soak in water over night. Then sand the chome keeping it wet at all times. It will take a while. After sanding wax the chrome. If you have a power buffer use it. Hopefully this will bring back the chrome's color. If not your discolored chrome will shine quite nicely!
