Just wanted to share this beauty I found on autotrader.com with you guys.
http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/8/7/1458587.htm He says it's VIN 129 000001 Thats a K and the very first one at that! Wish I had an extra 15k laying around! Even though it's not really worth 15k just the fact it was #1 in 1969 would make me happy. |

Thats really cool. My uncle used to have a P code Euro 65 912 car #75. I actually made the deal with the original owners son for my uncle. After my uncle bought the car, he turned around and traded it for a Cal look ragtop Bug he built and sold months earlier
![]() That pissed me off. This car was in good original condition, had all the tools, all books/mauals in German, factory stamp plate ect... To top it off, I talked the guy down to $2000. Then I was going to buy it from my uncle when I got the cash. This was 6 months ago, but I still feel ill over it. ------------------ Ed Fahrenkrug 72 914 1.7 73 914 2.0 68 912 (all under restoration) |
