Help, what did I do to my engine?

I rebuilt my stock 1968 912 with a big-bore kit 2 years ago, and without driving it more than a few hundred miles, have been storing the car for the last year and a half. I took it out of storage today to get it road ready for driving this summer. While "airing it out" a bit on a local back street, the throttle linkage stuck the pedal to the floor. I mistakenly pushed in the clutch before I got the key off and I pegged the tach for more than a full second. I pushed it to the garage, got the throttle unstuck, but now the starter sounds like its turning over the flywheel, but the pullies on the back end of the engine aren't turning when the thing turns over. What do you guys think I broke? What should I do next to figure it out?

the big part that controls everything is broken...

drain the oil...watch for particlulate...pull the sump cover off, and then peek up inside...

that should tell you everything.

Probably sheared dowel pins on the cranckshaft, which are locking the flywheel. Now they are broken you can turn the flywheel but the rest, cranckshaft, pistons etc don't move...

So everything has to come out again...
