69 912 value, need help!

O.K. I found a 69 912 non sunroof coupe in a garage and need help figuring out is value in it present state, trying to put a deal together to buy it tomorrow.

69 912 (euro from Italy)
repainted in it original Irish Green
54,000 original miles
Interior is a 8 out of a 10, camel color
virtually no signs of rust, all pans are pristine
One bender is banged up a little
Car has not been run since 93 but the motor looks excellent
This is a nice non modified original car!
Value????

Post over at the 912 Registry, buying is an art, I would start at 4K and see what happens but I'm cheap.

In running condition, with no fender damage, I'd say $10-15K...

Now subtract fender repair, interior work, and potentially $6000 for engine work (do "they" really park cars with perfect engines for 15 years?) and you're down to the above poster's value !

It's really hard to tell without knowing if the car will run...Or what you want to do to it... For sure $4K is a steal for a nice body with no rust !
