				speed bumps driving you nuts?

here a technique for going over them without killing your front end. just as you hit the bump, tap your breaks to transfer the weight to the front wheels countering the rebound. then when the rear wheels get to the bump accelerate through. i find this to be not as hard on the car this way. what do you all think?

The opposite would be better. Brake until the bump, let up/accelerate for the front to lift over it, and then brake to lift the rear over it.

turn your wheels to either side to go over them diagonally. if you were to take a section of a speed bump you'll notice the arc is sharper going head on vs. doing diagonally. this same reasoning is why aircraft wings are angled backwards towards the tail, more arc and more lift for the same size wing by angling them back. =)
