What type of struts do I have/need?

I have a 1967 912 and need to replace the front shocks. Cannot understand what is the right part for my car. Based on the color, I think I have Koni struts (which as I understand are no longer available), but it also looks like there is some red overspray and maybe they could be something else that has been painted red over the years, not sure...

I cannot find any brand name on them except for the logo in the pic, which I cannot make out it seems to be ending in ...CO.

So far I have tried bilstein and a set of KYB but neither of them fit. Does anybody know what kind of struts do I need?

If these are Koni and the Koni inserts are no longer available what is the alternative?

Please help! Thanks!

Bogeys were original equipment and they are the ones that are no longer available. They were also that color in 67. Koni does make a insert that replaces the bogey.
