Increase spark?
Anyone have any thoughts/input/advice on increasing the spark on my '68 912? I really do not want to go an electronic ignition.

Use a hotter coil (or/and add a CD box.) You didn't say which distributor you are using that would also make a difference. If you are using a 009 or 050 you are wasting your time. If you have a 061 then you will need to convert it to a 031.
Your best combination would be a RSR0012 or a 031 with pointless ignition, and a CD box with a coil that matches the box. Since you do not want pointless ignition. Then A CD box with a coil to match and with the points with a wider gap similar to the 911's gap with a DC box. |
