Snorkels
Seems strange but my 1966 912 air cleaner snorkels are horizontal in the engine bay instead of straight back as most of the ones I see ?

Pictures always help but the '65 and very early '66 had a pretty strange air cleaner set-up. Horizontal and facing inward.

Chassis 451326, a three-dial Karmann-bodied 912, has these and was delivered in August 1965 at the factory to a US buyer. What's your chassis number?

Mann & Hummel "wraparound" air cleaner housings
These rare guys? If you don't use them, don't throw them away!

The illustration above shows the Euro heater ducting (10). If you need new air cleaner elements and are unable to find them elsewhere, I have several. Frank |

I may need the air filter elements when I get the carbs dialed in. I'm missing the duct work (#10 ) and the "T" Connector that # 4 hose enters.
