I would recommend asking here, as that question has been answered there before, I just can't find it.
Early 911S Registry Or, you can ask "Grady Clay" here on Pelican.

Eduardo,
You can use anything earlier than the '69 axles. Longer wheelbase and I believe the flange is different. '67- '68 will fit without problems. Tony |

rebuild versus replace
The old adage was the left would go first, is that the one?
Nadellas were used on 904/906 racecars. Their disadvantage for road cars besides non-constant rotation is the lack of a way to grease the sealed joints. Back in the days of Aase Bros. in Anaheim, CA, they rebuilt Nadellas with new joints that had Zerk fittings. Attached is a scan of an old PCA "Up-Fixin der Porsche" Volume III article with one Nadella rebuild solution. You might consider a similar machine shop rebuild if the Nadella is not too far gone. Otherwise, you can upgrade to the Lobro style CVs, but will need to change halfshafts, axles, and different flanges on the transaxle. ![]()

Nadella Shafts
First of all.
Thanks to all the people who are helping me. I´m in a mess... I would prefer to change the shafts into an Lobro type. But I can´t decide what parts I need to do the job completely. Is any one able to send me a parts list for the conversion or may be tell me who can send me it?. For information my car is 67 MY and vin number 458368. Regards Eduardo |

The 2 transaxle side flange for a 67-68 SWB (6 holes each)
The 2 spline flange at the rear wheels for a 67-68 SWB (6 holes each) 2 CV axles 4 CV's (6 holes each) 4 dust boots and clamps 24 Allen bolts (min. tensile strength of 120kp/mm2) and 8 CV type washers. 1 tube of CV type Grease. Sorry, do not have the part numbers handy. However, make sure that you get the CV's with the Lobro brand name. |

While we're on the subject--you can get some inexpensive Empi axles for the 912, but people who have had a lot of experience with them have told me that they are not reliable. Get the Porsche ones, even if you have to get used ones.

I tried the Empi Axles and they only lasted about 500km. The Löbro ones are the only CV to use.
