Aside from changing motor mounts and installing an external
oil tank, can a 911 2.4 motor be installed in a 66 912 and mate to a 901 transaxle without too much hassle. Thanks |

There are a few guys here who have done it.
You will need a clutch and pressure plate from a 65 - 69 2.0L motor, a 911 tachometer, a 912 temp sensor on your 911 motor, modify your throttle linkage, if you have an MFI or CIS 2.4 motor, you will need a return fuel line to your tank (if the 2.4 has carbs, you are fine). The steel motor mounts are available from Porsche.

Hello
You need the 911 2,0 flywheel & clutch. You have to make a interface for the electric wireloom from the engine or remove the enginewireloom Grüsse |
