Overhaul / Repair Manuals
Hi all,
Is it just me or does my haynes 914 manual leave something to be desired...??? I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but - pick a chapter - have you noticed that there are references to illustrations that don't exist? Is there a more comprehensive 914 repair manual? ![]() Thanks,

The factory manual is more comprehensive. But frankly, it isn't that much better than the Haynes; at least 85% of the info from the factory book is reproduced in Haynes. Including most of the photos, which are direct copies. The factory books cost north of $300. Ouch.
The Lash (or the older printing by Clymer) handbook is a little different but not really better to my eye. --DD

The exploded view diagrams in the Factory manuals are hard to beat. They are reproduced in many places less expensively

Is there a website that I could view to help with how to accomplish a complete front a-arm replacement? I'm waitin' on new parts & only know how I got it apart. I believe I need any torque specs required during reassembly + any experience you could share.
Thanks, Gary '73 914 2.0 f.i.
