Uploading a small video file on the net
The other day I took out my car from the garage to take some pictures of it and a small little movie from the camera, I want to show all of you but I do not know how to upload the movie on to the net (maybe I can't). I've got Front Page and a slew of Macromedia ***** (hell if I know how to use it). The files are about 3-3.5MB (not bad for broadband, 56k, don't think about it). It's nothing important, but can someone enlighten me.

I believe Pelican does not have the upload space or give you this ability, so your best bet is to put it on an internet accessable server somewhere. Most, not all, but most email and ISP systems allow you to have some web space. If not there are a few others out there that are free. All you need to do is download the file to a web page and create a link in your post to that file. It sounds easy enough, but its not if you have not done it before.
If you would like you can email me the file as an attachment, I will download it to my server and send you the link to post. I have unlimited space on my servers to put files. I hope this helps,

I use Sony's Imagestation Service. It is free, but viewers need to sign up to see your pics and vids.
There is no free ride for your stuff on the web, but this method does not require any cash and so far I've gotten no spam from it - just an occasional Sony plug for their latest camera, or print specials, which I like to see. See my stuff here: My Imagestation site I've got 545MB of pics (with a few vids) on there and it's never cost me a dime. I've created and ordered a few things like calendars and mouse pads from my pics, and the prices were good, the quality excellent.
