My first break since getting back to the US. It was the best time, and not in any small part due to the company. You guys were all cool.
"Smokey the Gorilla" eh James? I kinda like that

I really hope that all who are viewing this thread will join us for
BAJA RUN II. Don't really care what you wheel as long as you're in it for the fun. It beats the hell out of standing in the sun (or cold) looking for less rusty parts and as long as Red Beard doesn't pi$$ off the local Policia, we can driveFASTER & FARTHER

Way cool road trip. We are truly jealous, we get to go to Toledo where, incredible as it may sound, they write in Spanish too.
What's the name of the color on the green 914. I love it. Reminds me of an early Scirocco I tooled around in my youth. -hawk |

All I can tell you is the pictures do not do the car justice. The color and the metallic color can only be truely experienced in person. If I ever buy a 914 where I do all the non-concourse mods, I will paint it that color.

It is GREAT to be back in San Diego. The pics are great, looks like alot of fun. Mike..."smokey the Gorilla" LOL!!! sounds like a new screen name for you sir. I was reading and dreaming from Indiana. I dont really need to eat or pay rent. I'm in for baja run II. Since "they" already know James, we can use him for policia fodder next trip.
