How often should you change...
The fuel filter?
Spark Plugs? Condensor (Points)? Brake pads, F vs R? Pack Front Wheel Bearings? I'm looking through the history of my car and am shocked at how often these things were done. Though I can do nothing about it, I question whether the dealer actually did them each time, or just took the poor guy for all he had. ![]()

Points: When the tach gets sloppy.
![]() I don't bother with the bearings unless they are getting noisy. 15,000 miles is the maximum that I'd put on copper core plugs, 12,000 is better. If you're using platinums, just check the plugs every 12,000 but platinums ought to last 2-3 times as long as copper plugs. Brake fluid for me is every 2 years, regardless of mileage. The valve adjustment for my 1976 2.0 is 12,000 miles. Aaron
