Bursch style exhaust system on ebay

Has anyone purchased a 914 exhaust system from this seller? It appears to be a custom made Bursch style system.

one nice feature is the removable muffler. not fixed/welded. you can change to a straight pipe or quiet can. note tho, it's for a 1.7/1.8 h.e.

I purchased one from him on Saturday, it had a starting price of $40.00 and a "buy it now" price of $65.00 with free shipping. I chose to "buy it now". On Sunday I noticed that he listed another system with a starting price of $60.00 and a "buy it now" price of $85.00. I guess the first one sold too quickly.

That is not a Bursch which uses a 4-2-1 collecter arrangement and a few more pipe turns to locate the muffler above the level of the exchanger flanges. I've seen the one shown in pictures, but I don't know the brand. People on the STF T4 forum use them for T4 conversions.

I believe that the seller is making them himself or having them made for him.

I don't see the word "bursch" in the ad - anywhere. The price seems very low compared to Bursch systems that I've seen in several catalogs. They usually sell for $200

What I meant by “Bursch Style” was that it is a Bursch knock-off or copy, I didn’t mean to imply that this system was manufactured by Bursch. Sorry for the confusion. I will let you all know how it looks installed and sounds when I receive mine.
