Blowing Fuse #7

Before I go taking my dashboard apart, does anyone know of common sources for Fuse #7 blowing? The dash lights do not light up.

I found the short. It's in the gray wire coming from Fuse #7 going to the trunk light and license plate lights. Thanks for your consideration.

Has anyone done any work to the rear bumper recently? If you hook up the license plate lights backwards, you'll pop that fuse when you turn the lights on. (Ask me how I know!) The actual negative connector has a trace that goes to one of the mounting screw holes.
