Fuel Screen Question
Tonight I am going to change my fuel screen (yes, I should have done it when I relocated the fuel pump & put in a new fuel filter last weekend).
Anyway, I was wondering if I need any type of sealant when re-installing the fittings on the bottom of the tank. Any advice would be appreciated. Vern |

I tried to get replacements recently but could not find anyone who had them. Just tightened thing back up really tight with no problems.
Let me know if you find a source. Thanks Ken Schipper kenschipper@hotmail.com

I already picked up my fuel screen. I bought from a foreign car parts store here in town. I was told that the fuel screen was the same as on fuel injected VW's. The parts guy looked up the part in the Porsche book and it had the same part number as in the VW book. It was about $6 bucks.

Well, I got the fuel screen replaced. The old one came out in one piece but there were gobs of crud all around the outside of the screen. Got it all cleaned up & although this could be my imagination but the car definately feels like it runs better.
