914 voltage regulators
Hi there,
I thought I read somewhere about an electronic replacement voltage regulator for 914s that was more desirable than the OEM unit. Does this exist? Thanks, Joe '74 2.0 |

autozone.com has a "WELLS VR650" voltage regulator for the 914 that they sell for $19.99. It's kind of hidden on their site so you have to search for it.

I dont know about "desirable" voltage regulators, however you can use a VW bug regulator in place of the stock (expensive) Porsche one. Like $5 at any auto parts store. The only difference is that you have to mount the regulator on the side of the relay board, then plug in the connector.
