Ok James, it looks very very nice, now tell me what it cost you to get it done down there. Maybe I could take the Chalon down there and Joe is looking to get his all done too. So give me some info please.

Labor for painting was $700

I paid an extra $100 to have the glass removed and re-installed.

$359 for the paint in the US and I bought more than was needed.

Did they have to do any body work?? Joe needs some done on the rear of the car. Both rear fenders and along the back between the lights.

They did a bunch of touch up stuff, but nothing major. I paid them $1200, but they also installed a carpet kit, some interior trim, the front carpet set.

I also had the A/C done for $90....a recharge with the OEM refrigerant!!!

Looks nice. How much body and prep work was done? Did they strip the old paint? Door jambs and trunks or just the exterior? Was it sanded/buffed/polished afterwards? If not, and idea how much more for those extras?

Glad they did a good job for you. I have used them since 1983 or so and have been really happy with them.

John - Thanks again for the suggestion. Great place and very nice people to work with.

Will - They did sand down the paint quite a bit to get good adheasion. They did the door jamb, but not the trunks. They did a very nice buffing job on the top surfaces.

Scott - You live close enough! You're 2 hours away. It's worth it!

Thanks James, it will be at least spring before it will be road ready. I want to make sure everything is right and working before I do it. I will paint the engine compartment and trunks myself. Maybe even the door jambs.
