Right turns = Stall..

There was a similar problem posted here 2 months ago, can't find that post.

Carbs or FI?

While the first thought is "fuel supply", don't rule out ignition or FI (if you have it). A wire that grounds out only on turns happens from time to time, particularly with the head temperature sensor wire in D-Jetronic.

FI

It's bucking some, and stalling on right turns.

There was a thread just a couple months ago, hard to search a phrase here. I am positive it's a ground, it changes with the road surface.

ASS!

I found this problem, I found 10 more too! Fixed all but the TPS, which after I adjusted it, moved the boop up 200rpm.

Just a thought,
Same for me before I cleaned the fuel tank. Ran about 15 minutes fine, took the right corner hard and stumbled home. Clogged fuel net at the bottom along with 30 years of rust flakes. Check grounds at FI points and head temp. Have fun!

No Barry, I'll just park my car at your place with the keys, and come back with a second set in a month..

Sounds great, I need something to do. No job, just school...

I've become an expert in the FI system. Mine is completely new...because of the fuel tank issue... I love parts, tools, and 914's.... Keep in mine I'm only 25 so I have many more years to go fixing these things....

Since my car is running... I have a date with the GA mountains this morning... I earned this drive! (rubbing it in) For those out west, we have trees in the east that turn colors!

Go ahead, rub away.

Take a turn or two for me.

Hah! Here in the west, we have people that turn colors when a 14 comes sliding around a corner and they're in the crosswalk - Beat that!

Trees, TREES, We don't need no stinkin' trees - Some idiot would try to burn 'em down anyway.

Must be hell in the South if the only date you get is with a pile of dirt. And, remember, as long as it's yours you can rub it as long and as hard as you want!

My "date" was great. Blue skys and nothing but turns. If this is hell than I need nothing else. I'm a simple person.

There is nothing like eating Moon Pies, grits, and washing it all down with a nice cold glass of Lemonade... on a 70 degree day..

Than again, everyday is a good day when the 914 starts and runs...
