Shift pattern

If all goes well with installation of the last rebuilt caliper, and the weather holds out, I will be taking the teener out of the garage for the fist time since I bought her. My question is my original shift knob was replaced with a wood one, does any one have a pic of the shift pattern, I would hate to put it in 1st and back into the wall of the garage.

Wait...so you're telling me there is a pattern to the shifting?

I always just put the clutch in, stir the stick and then let the cluch out.

Seriously?

Marital bliss is just that.

Gwen's the finest woman I've ever met.

We put an offer on a house this week...stress abounds...

Yeah, that's what she said.

HA!

No, seriously. I told her she'd be with the Girls friday night and that we'd be out at the star trek exhibit.

Whats the point of putting 3rd in the place of reverse? Does it still function as reverse, except a different ratio? or is it for going from 1st straight to 3rd?

You have two different ratios for third.
