Need Instructions for rear lense update using solenoid

I have a rear lense porsche update that uses a solenoid to open the rear trunk. UNfortunately I don't have the instructions to wire the solenoid in. If anyone has the instructions i would sure appreciate a copy of them. Thanks
Mike

The stock version used a "momentary switch" inside the passenger cockpit. I believe that the switch was hot, and when pushed it completed the circuit to the solenoid and it opened. The other wire on the solenoid was simply grounded on the nearest suitable bolt.

The switch was usually mounted under the dash near the fuse box. Now a little word of advice, on three 914s that had this option, the trunk has a tendency to not want to open when the targa top was in the trunk. The only way to get it open was to have someone push down on the trunk while the driver was pushing on the switch inside the car....a bit of a pain in the toukas if you were all by your lonesome....

What "I" did was hide the switch under the license plate. When it bound up, I was able to push the switch and the lid the same time...
